If Only I had the space ......

                                         Then I would have this.

A beautiful large pine cabinet from France circa 1870
in my huge, beautiful kitchen in my imaginary house.  This
is 93" wide by 88 1/2" tall by 18" deep, there are shelves
that are all one piece that go the length of the cabinet.  This
cabinet does not come apart, so I will also have to have a huge
door on my imaginary house, this piece is absolutely wonderful.

This kitchen would be perfect for it (photo courtesy of
Vernada Magazine.)

More Goodies ......

Italian burled wood secretary, 19th century, 80" tall top with glass is 21" wide, bottom part with
drawers is 39" wide.

There is a crack in the top of the burl, but it does not detract at all
from the beauty of the piece.

There is one door and two center compartments on the inside, plus two drawers.

Another gorgeous piece of Italian furniture, this is an Italian concierge desk from the 1890's.
Three drawer, original paint, leather has been replaced. The shell motif is both in the front and back,
this is what is called a floater piece which means itcan be put in the center of a room because it
is  finished all the way around. (I did not actually know this but I did ask the expert, Maria Hardeveld,
     the owner of the shop.)

Close up of gold gilded shell, also she has the keys to the drawers.
Desk measures 30" tall by 56" wide by 37" deep.  Molto Bella!
